Scaling Apprenticeship Statewide: Lessons from Indiana

Since January 2024, more than 150 Indiana leaders from business, higher education, K-12, government and philanthropy formed a coalition to develop a statewide modern youth apprenticeship system as one potential solution to Indiana’s mounting workforce crisis. Panelists will share what Indiana has learned from an intensive, 10-month Implementation Lab (iLab) in partnership with the Center on Economics and Management of Education and Training Systems (CEMETS) at ETH Zurich. Attendees will learn how Indiana is creating an apprenticeship model that's inspired by the Swiss, but Hoosier by design.
