Brianna Harris

Brianna is the Director of Housing Initiatives at the Child Poverty Action Lab (CPAL), a Dallas-based nonprofit organization committed to cutting child poverty in Dallas in half within 20 years. CPAL works as a local convener, data analyst, and broker to provide concrete solutions for immediate implementation. Brianna leads the implementation of a multifaceted data-driven housing strategy focused on housing stability to significantly reduce child poverty. Prior to CPAL, Brianna served as a policy and advocacy fellow in the Dallas Independent School District, where she leveraged data to promote equitable healthcare access for employees. She also taught first and third grades in Tulsa Public Schools. Brianna earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Georgia State University.
