Bridget Hamre

Bridget Hamre, PhD is the co-founder and CEO of Teachstone and is the co-author of the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS), an observation measure and professional development tool that has widespread use in classrooms across the country. Dr. Hamre's research expertise spans over 65 peer-reviewed manuscripts on topics in student-teacher relationships and classroom processes that promote positive academic and social development in young children. She holds a position as Research Associate Professor in the Curry School of Education and is the Associate Director of the Center for Advanced Study of Teaching and Learning (CASTL) at the University of Virginia.
