Stephanie Ahern

BG Stephanie Ahern is the Director of Concepts at the Futures and Concepts Center, Army Futures Command, Austin, TX. She leads concept development and assessment, aligning with joint and multinational partners, to help design the Army's future force. Commissioned in 1995 from the U.S. Military Academy, she's held strategic to tactical roles worldwide, including combat deployments in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Albania, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq. As an Army FA59 Strategist, she taught International Relations at West Point, served in Baghdad with the Center for Army Lessons Learned, and was a Council on Foreign Relations International Affairs Fellow at the Treasury Department's Middle East Office.
