Miles Sebesta
Miles is a board member of Code Rising, a non-profit focuing on empowering underserved students by providing access to STEM education in rural communities. He is also the AI Product Lead for Kapor Center Investments where he works with VC fund managers and endowments to leverage AI for Good.
Miles previously lead a department as VP of Innovation; his team led the creation of a COVID-19 response platform in 10 days, which garnered support from Governors Polis and Newsom, aiding over 800,000 affected individuals. He and his team also received an honorable mention at NLC Capstone project for launching a generative AI text messaging service for city governments within 6 months, setting a new standard in civic engagement.
Prior to his latest position, Miles spent 5 years working in the traditional and non-traditional classroom in the Central Valley of California by partnering with school districts like Fresno Unified School District and Fowler Unified School District as an in-classroom development curriculum consultant and apprenticeship lead.
