Charles Foster

Charles Foster is an artificial intelligence researcher with a background in cognitive science, specializing in statistical methods for producing and understanding language. Since 2019, he has been working on designing, testing, and building human-centered applications of large language models (LLMs), both within industry and within open-source organizations. He is now a Lead AI Scientist at Finetune Learning, where he and his team leverage the capabilities of LLMs and other emerging AI technologies in two products—Generate® and Catalog™—that augment professionals in education and assessment.
