Christina Martinez

Christina Martinez is the current board president and has served in this capacity since 2021. She has represented the SAISD District 6 community since April 10, 2017. On May 5, 2023 she won her second election and is serving a term that will expire in 2027. She has spent her entire career serving multiple non-profits as a youth development professional. Christina and her husband are lifelong residents of SAISD. Their two older children both graduated from SAISD schools and they have one more in 5th grade. In 2021 she became the Executive Director of The Dee Howard Foundation where she works hand in hand with K-12, higher ed, and industry to ensure that students across the San Antonio Area are aware of and have access to the Aerospace Industry. Christina currently serves on the board of The Council of Great City Schools.
