Jacqueline Pezzillo
Jacqueline Pezzillo, Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Room to Read, is a strategic communications, brand and marketing expert with 20 years of experience across the corporate and non-profit sectors. Passionate about creating a world free from illiteracy and gender inequality, Jacqueline joined Room to Read in 2012 and leads Room to Read's global awareness and digital fundraising efforts, inspiring action for positive change. Recognized as one of the Top Women in Communications by Ragan and PR Daily, she has stewarded the reputation and brand story of Room to Read through flagship multimedia projects including She Creates Change, celebrity and cause marketing partnerships and experiential marketing. Her prior experience includes curating public relations campaigns for the National September 11th Memorial Museum, branches of DC Public Library and institutional projects that strengthen the fabric of communities. Jacqueline holds a master's degree in public relations and corporate communications from New York University and a bachelor's degree in architecture from New York Institute of Technology. Beyond her purpose-driven career, Jacqueline finds joy in a book, the gym, and the chaos of motherhood.
