David Coleman

David joined the College Board in 2012. Since that time, he led a comprehensive redesign of the SAT, & is designing and preparing for the launch of the first digital version of the exam; invested in a dramatic expansion of the Advanced Placement Program to reach more students of all backgrounds; & guided the organization’s mission-driven response to the pandemic, helping keep millions of students on track during a time of unprecedented challenges. Prior to joining College Board, he was a cofounder of Student Achievement Partners, a national nonprofit devoted to raising standards of student achievement in math and literacy. A native of New York City and a proud graduate of its public schools, David earned a degree from Yale University & attended the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.
