José Modesto

José Modesto, one of the students featured in Como Vivimos, is now a successful musician and educator with a BA in Liberal Studies. Having himself experienced the struggles faced by migratory youth, he now works as a dedicated elementary school teacher focusing on migrant students. José also pursues a musical career as a singer-songwriter whose recent hits include collaborations with Los Del Puerto and Grupo 415.
