Megan Trenda
Megan (she/her) is a manager at Common Group, a social impact consultancy dedicated to education and economic opportunity. Our mission is to grow the impact of social investment through human understanding. Common Group designed, facilitates, and manages Catalyze - a philanthropic grant program accelerating innovation in career-connected learning. Catalyze is designed to provide young people with access and agency to navigate meaningful, fulfilling careers.

Megan manages community initiatives and supports grant challenges at Common Group. With over a decade of comprehensive experience in K-12 and adult education at the classroom, school, and district level, Megan has served as a Spanish teacher, instructional coach, program coordinator, and dual language consultant. Megan continues to be an advocate of bilingual education for language learners, and promotes inclusive education experiences for students of all ages through her work with Common Group. Megan lives in the Washington D.C. area, and in her free time can be found cooking (and eating) delicious food, making music, and planning her next adventure.
