Hope Barrón

Hope leads various initiatives for the Advising Success Network, maintains communication channels and social media presence, develops toolkits, and crafts blogs and content. As Texas Digital Communications Fellow at The Education Trust, she advances educational equity for low-income students and students of color in Texas through storytelling and social media, and as PR intern at marketing and communication agency OnWrd & UpWrd, contributes to client research, media list curation, coverage monitoring, pitch and press release writing, and reporter outreach. She will earn a master’s in Strategic Communications at American University in summer 2024. Her bachelor's in Journalism and Media Studies is from New Mexico State University and she is a proud El Paso Community College alumna.
