Megan Jacob

Megan Jacob, a junior studying Neuroscience and Business at UNC Chapel Hill, has witnessed gaps in reproductive healthcare access for women and students, motivating her advocacy for student action on abortion rights. She's leading a collaboration between UNC and Duke to inform students about recent NC legislation and its impacts, with plans to later expand. Through volunteering at a local doctor's office, Megan has meaningful conversations with the clinical team about challenges in providing care within a flawed system. She believes students have power to drive change and should be at the forefront of safeguarding reproductive rights.
