Amiee Winchester

As Baltimore City Public Schools’ Director – Continuous Improvement, Amiee leads the district’s strategy development and implementation of the continuous improvement efforts and co-leads the Baltimore Secondary Literacy Improvement Community Network focused on improving literacy outcomes for students in grades 6–12. She supports the design and scale of a sustainable district-wide improvement strategy, constructs systems and routines to successfully drive organizational change, and leads the creation of learning-by-doing professional learning opportunities for district leaders and practitioners. Amiee holds a B.A. in international affairs, an M.A. in elementary education and teaching from Johns Hopkins University, and an M.A. in education policy from Teachers College, Columbia University.
