Edith Yang

Edith Yang’s research portfolio spans the areas of economic mobility, financial inclusion, housing and homelessness, and community development. She is a quantitative researcher who leads both rigorous evaluations and learning partnerships with government agencies and community-based organizations. At MDRC’s Center for Data Insights, Edith provides technical expertise on data collection, management, and quality, leveraging administrative data for analysis, and open-source coding. She loves working with data and is passionate about making today’s cutting-edge data science tools accessible to the nonprofit and community leaders who are doing the lifechanging work of supporting people with low incomes in their journeys toward economic mobility.
