Shay Bluemer-Miroite

Shay Bluemer-Miroite is the Director of Programs at Shift, where she leads the Hybrid Advising Co-Op (BLOCK Collaborative), a national community of organizations integrating AI into advising programming to bridge college advising gaps. Shay brings two decades of experience in capacity development, facilitation, and continuous improvement to drive complex systems change. A dedication to equitable systems change brought her to Shift. Prior to joining Shift, her career in systems change began in global health, working in Haiti, and spanned the Caribbean, Ukraine, Tanzania, and Kenya. Shay is passionate about facilitating inclusive design spaces and networks that center the voices and insights of those impacted by systems and put those insights into practice.
