Irina Uk
Irina Uk is an educator, an instructional designer, and educational change agent. She joined AceraEI, the outreach arm of Acera School: The Massachusetts School of Science, Creativity and Leadership from Boston Public Schools, where she taught 6th through 8th grade mathematics. Prior to that, Irina was designing educational technologies for k-12 students to learn coding and math. Irina is adept at using design interventions, multi-model, and multi-disciplinary lessons and projects to engage and meet the needs of all learners, and she is experienced in building partnerships with education and research institutions. She was named a Harvard University Urban Scholar for her impact on urban education during her tenure as a teacher in Chicago. As AceraEI’s Education and Innovation Program Manager, Irina helps bring Acera School’s innovative approach to K-12 education to public schools around the world.
