Catherine Thimmesh

Catherine has been a creativity and innovation educator and speaker for more than ten years. She speaks (and leads workshops) regularly to thousands of students and educators on developing a creative mindset. She delivered a TEDx talk on Creativity in the Classroom that has garnered hundreds of thousands of views. She's been interviewed as a creativity expert for several podcasts (including Art of Problem Solving) and articles (including NatGeo).

She believes that infusing small doses of creativity-based exercises throughout the school day in 60-second increments helps kids foster a creative mindset and sets them up for success. She's working to develop a creativity-based nonprofit -- Aha! Academy -- based on some of her findings seeking to nurture and develop the much needed durable skills of creativity, critical thinking, and communication.

Catherine is an award-winning children's book author and is currently writing a book on creativity.
