Andrea Orta Whatley brings 18 years of education experience to her role as a lever leader at Plum Creek Elementary in Lockhart ISD, located outside of Austin, TX. Whatley was born and raised in Lockhart and is a proud graduate of Lockhart High School. She taught in Louisiana and Mesquite ISD before moving back to her hometown in 2008 to teach at Clear Fork Elementary. In 2023, Whatley was chosen as a Lockhart ISD Emergent Leader and is a designated Master Teacher in the State of Texas.
