Albert Palacios

Albert Palacios is the Director of Cyber Education at the White House Cyber Initiative, and has previously worked as an Education Program Specialist at the Department of Education’s Office of Career, Technical, and Adult Education. His work focuses on cybersecurity, STEM education, and continuing adult education. He has helped shape several initiatives including a 5-year White House STEM Strategy called “Charting a Course for Success: America’s Strategy for STEM Education.” Albert has also served as the Chief Labor Policy Analyst at Bloomberg News. Albert has a degree in business management from the University of Texas at Austin and began his career in banking before dedicating his skills to programs that give students robust access to opportunities in education and career.
