The youngest mayor in Birmingham's history, Randall L. Woodfin has transformed the city through a comprehensive agenda centered around economic development, public safety, and social justice. Under his guidance, Birmingham has experienced an economic resurgence, attracting major investments and revitalizing neighborhoods. Mayor Woodfin’s commitment to equitable education led to the creation of Birmingham Promise (the most accessible tuition-free college program in the south) and the first 7 figure municipal investment in early childhood education in the state of Alabama. His accolades including being named to TIME magazine's list of "100 Most Influential People". Mayor Woodfin is a graduate of Morehouse College and received his J.D. from Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law.
