Jonathan Johnson

Jonathan is the founder and CEO of Rooted School Foundation which is a non-profit network of four schools across four states and other projects focused on increasing upward mobility for youth faster than local projections. Rooted School has been nationally recognized as one of the most innovative public school models in the U.S. for its work on training students to earn industry-recognized credentials while in high school. Jonathan also manages The 50 Dollar Study in partnership with the Center for Guaranteed Income Research which is the most extensive randomized control trial to date exploring the impact of unconditional cash transfers to youth. The project was recognized in Fast Company's 2023 World Changing Ideas In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys skiing, winemaking, and cooking.
