Jenna Gravel is a Senior Research Scientist at CAST. Her research focuses on supporting educators to apply UDL to practice—and exploring what happens to student thinking when teachers leverage UDL in the design of learning environments. Jenna also co-chairs UDL Rising to Equity, a community-driven process to reenvision CAST’s UDL Guidelines through an equity lens. Prior to assuming her role at CAST, Jenna worked as a middle school special educator and as a research associate at CAST where she contributed to the development of the original editions of the UDL Guidelines.
