Caroline Bastow

Caroline has worked in the post 16 education sector for over 15 years and has taught a range of subjects, at all levels, to both young people and adults. Caroline believes in the ‘power of education’; a tool to supporting young people and adults in raising their aspirations and self-belief. She is passionate about the use of innovative strategies that can enhance the learning experience. Telford College recently worked with Inizio Engage XD to produce three Virtual Reality scenarios to help prepare trainee Health Care Assistants for the emotional demands of their role. These examined issues such as dementia, bereavement and the overwhelming demands on healthcare professionals day to day.
