Juanita Soranno oversees edX for Impact at edX a 2U, Inc. brand, overseeing global social enterprise efforts through Access Partnerships with the top universities, non-profits, and foundations around the world. Her work includes leading the way in implementing solutions to bridge the digital skills gap, driving business growth, and creating innovative programs to meet the evolving needs of the market. Juanita leads a team of individuals with strong business and technical acumen, allowing for the design, implementation, and optimization of programs that drive business growth while delivering innovative solutions.

In addition to her work at edX, Juanita serves as the executive sponsor of the Asian Pacific Islander Network, a business resource group at edX. Furthermore, she is the driving force behind CodeConnect, a nonprofit 501c3 dedicated to enhancing access and equity in education. Her passion for creating a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and belonging educational system is evident in her work.

Juanita has earned her MBA at UNC Chapel Hill, graduated from San Francisco State University’s College of Ethnic Studies, and completed the Rutgers Coding Boot Camp. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from her previous roles in consumer finance and private equity in NYC.
