Sophie Hogan

Sophie Hogan is a digital journalist with PIE News, an education platform. She studied Spanish and Portuguese Studies from Queen’s University Belfast. During her year abroad in Latin America, she studied in Rio and wrote for a magazine in Bolivia, sparking her passion for international education. After receiving a diploma in multimedia journalism, she worked at the Press Association’s picture desk. Joining the PIE in September 2021, her love for travel takes her to the United States, particularly Chicago, and to Latin America, Spain, and Portugal to practice languages.
