Ruth Ann Moss

Ruth Ann Moss’s passion for educational equity led her to start her career as a Teach For America corps member. After teaching for four years, she joined staff at Teach For America - Alabama to support and develop early career educators. Currently, Ruth Ann serves as the Executive Director of Birmingham Talks, the nation’s largest implementer of early childhood talk pedometer technology. Under her leadership, the organization has quadrupled its impact and been recognized nationally for the quality of services provided. Ruth Ann holds a B.A. from Mississippi College and an M.Ed. from Samford University.
