Kaylen Tucker

Kaylen Tucker, Ph.D., is associate executive director, communications, at the National Association of Elementary School Principals and serves as editor-in-chief of the NAESP’s award-winning, flagship magazine, Principal. Kaylen earned a B.A. in English from Florida A&M University, and an M.A. in English from Purdue University, before going on to earn a Ph.D. in English from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her academic work focuses on identity politics in contemporary African American literature.
