Alonso Garcia
Alonso Garcia is a first-gen immigrant professional with 15+ years of experience in the nonprofit sector, prioritizing upward mobility for underrepresented communities of color. At the Foundation for California Community Colleges, he leads the statewide Immigration Legal Services program, and oversees activities such as community outreach, awareness campaigns, student training and engagement efforts, and more. Previously, Alonso worked at INALLIANCE, a nonprofit agency serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and at Redwood Community Health Coalition, where he advocated for community health centers. Alonso holds a double major from Sacramento State and a Master's in Public Policy and Administration, with a focus on Education Reform.
