Raquel Martin

Dr. Raquel Martin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Professor, and Scientist that focuses on the intersection of mental health and social justice. Her clinical practice focuses on Black mental health, racism related stress, and Black identity development. As a professor at Tennessee State University she teaches courses such as Psychology of the Black Experience, Mental Health, Activism, & Hip Hop Music, and Introductory Research Methods. Her research focuses on anti racist and anti oppressive frameworks, health disparities, and Black identity development.
