Silvia Juarez-Marazzo
Silvia Juarez-Marazzo, LCSW, NCPsyA, is Co-Executive Director Clinical of Chances for Children-NY , having joined in 2018 as Clinical Director. She previously served as Assistant Program Manager at ABH, bringing infant mental health to early education settings, and as Lead Clinical Supervisor, Senior Therapist, and Trainer for Child First Inc.’s national replication.
Since 2002, Silvia has served on the faculties of Southern Connecticut State University and Sacred
Heart University. Silvia is Core Faculty at the UMass Chan Fellowship in Early Relational Health since 2016 (formally known as IPMH at UMass). She is faculty at Brooklyn College ECAE Program since 2019.
Silvia was the Connecticut Association for Infant Mental Health’s 2014 Jane C Bourns Award recipient. Originally from Argentina, Silvia is the author and illustrator of internationally recognized picture books
for immigrant children and their families.
