Markus Sherman

Markus Sherman is an educator, activist, and education program designer passionate about creating pipelines of access to international education opportunities for student groups that face socio-economic and other barriers to entry. As a child of Indian American and Liberian parents, Markus was exposed to a myriad of cultures and belief systems from an early age, leading him to study International Relations and Global Business at the University of Southern California. Building on years of experience as a middle school teacher, learning designer, and entrepreneur to earn an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. In addition to his work with EF, Markus co-founded and runs Honesty Hour, a DEIB consulting practice and production company that works with uplifts the voices of margin
