Dr. Henrietta Wright - Henrietta (pronounced - ahn-ree-et-uh/silent "H") holds a BS from Florida A & M University in Art Education and an MA and PhD from the University of Maryland, College Park - in Curriculum and Instruction Specializing in Art Education. She has been in higher education 25+ years. Her research interests include curriculum and instruction, human learning, cognition, motivation, assessment and technology in education and diversity. Dr. Wright has written and published several research articles and reports in educational journals; edited book chapters, attended and presented papers at national, state, and local conferences on a variety of topics; conducted and participated in diverse and varied workshops on education, retention and assessment; and developed a few community and outreach programs. She loves to travel and has traveled extensively in her lifetime; having lived and/or traveled to many countries in the US, Europe, Mexico, Caribbean Islands and Afrika. She enjoys having students share in these global experience through faculty-led study abroad programs; and having them become Global Citizens and World Travelers!
