Ross Szabo

Ross Szabo is a founding faculty member and Wellness Director at Geffen Academy at UCLA, a school for students in grades 6-12. Ross has a long history as a mental health advocate and curriculum designer. He was the Director of Outreach for the National Mental Health Awareness Campaign from 2002-2010. In that time he created the first large-scale mental health assemblies in the country. In 2013, Ross started a mental health curriculum company called Human Power Project. The company's curriculum is used by over 300,000 students nationwide. Ross has spoken to over 2 million people and authored 2 books, Behind Happy Faces; Taking Charge of Your Mental Health and A Kids Book About Anxiety.
