Liz Mikitarian

Liz Mikitarian is a retired educator from Brevard County, Florida that founded STOP Moms for Liberty. After Moms for Liberty took over her local school board, she created a Facebook group that consisted of parents and educators that disagreed with Moms for Liberty’s extremist anti-equity agenda. Her group has over 9,000 members nationwide and chapters in each state. Her mission is to spread awareness about the flaws in Moms for Liberty, stop book bans, and make sure that minority and LGBTQ+ children feel safe.
