Cynthia Jasso serves as a Program Officer at the George Kaiser Family Foundation, where she works on resident-centered neighborhood development. Prior to this role, Cynthia was the Associate Director of Community Engagement for the Birth through Eight Strategy for Tulsa (BEST), where she worked on policy, sustainability, and community engagement. She joined GKFF in 2020 after spending nearly 6 years in education, first as an educator and then moving into leadership roles at a national education-based nonprofit. In 2021, Cynthia was recognized as Tulsan of the Year for co-founding the Tulsa Immigrant Relief Fund. Cynthia serves on several community boards and task forces. She is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and a UCLA graduate.
