Tal Havivi

Tal Havivi, a seasoned EdTech expert, offers a distinct perspective cultivated through a comprehensive background in K-12 administration, enterprise product development, and startup innovation. Currently serving as the Managing Director of R&D at ISTE/ASCD, Havivi is at the forefront of transformative EdTech initiatives. His focus lies in EdTech systems change, leading research on what “high quality” Edtech design looks like through the lenses of teaching and learning, improving and streamlining Edtech evaluation processes with school systems, and scaling support for EdTech providers to create high-impact products.
Previously, Havivi was the former Head of Education Strategy & Programs at Amazon Business, where he crafted and executed strategic initiatives in K-12, Higher Education, and Early Childhood units, streamlining education procurement. Havivi's leadership extends to successful go-to-market strategies at startups, including TenMarks (acquired in 2013 by Amazon) and Readlee (acquired in 2022 by Paper) and within K-12 administration, where he was Education Pioneers Fellow at KIPP DC and implemented strategies to fortify organizational policies for a safer learning environment.
