Sonya Soloway

With a deep belief that anything designed without someone is not for them, Sonya leverages her role as a Manager of Design & Innovation to promote equity within our schools as she manages DC Public Schools' community-driven approach to redesigning our high schools. Sonya Soloway is an experienced educator, spending time serving as a teacher, project manager, Innovation Specialist, and now as a Manager with DC Public Schools. She has dedicated her career to supporting schools to meet the individual needs of their communities and providing opportunities for every child to succeed in their own right. She has a Bachelor’s from the University of Vermont, an M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction from Howard University, and is a LUMA-certified Human Centered Design Practitioner.
