Taylor Sprague
Taylor Sprague (they/them) is a writer, problem solver, and advocate that strives to transform the ways people think about the influence of gender on our systems and offer tangible solutions to create a society that works for transgender and non-binary individuals. As the Director of Organizational Strategy at Jobs for the Future, Sprague reimagines possibilities and builds interdisciplinary partnerships that enhance access to education and career development by cultivating transformative partnerships in the postsecondary, workforce development, and public and private sectors to achieve equitable economic advancement for all.
Sprague has also served as a speaker and facilitator for the past 7 years, designing and delivering trainings, workshops, and presentations on building inclusive and affirming environments for transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals in education (K-12 and postsecondary), healthcare, and corporate settings. Sprague is a Pushcart Nominated writer that has been published in Pangyrus LitMag and their artwork has been featured in Way Down in the Hole: Race, Intimacy, and the Reproduction of Racial Ideologies in Solitary Confinement. They have a master’s degree in higher education administration from North Carolina State University and a bachelor’s in government and international politics from George Mason University.
