Alison McMonagle

Dr. Alison McMonagle supports and shapes the literacy experiences of secondary students across the School District of Philadelphia's (SDP) diverse schools. Before entering her current position, she taught English and Writing at the college, high school and middle school level as well as coached High School English teachers. She is specifically interested in the unique needs of adolescent readers and how public schools support diverse older learners.
