Nancy Gutiérrez, Ed.L.D.

Dr. Nancy B. Gutiérrez is President & Lead Executive Officer of The Leadership Academy, a nonprofit supporting and developing culturally responsive school & school system leaders to create the conditions necessary for all students to thrive. The nationally recognized organization has supported more than 12,000 educators in 39 states, across 375 school districts, state education departments, and education organizations. Named one of City & State’s 100 most influential education leaders in New York in 2020, Nancy was also named a 2019 Pahara-Aspen Education Fellow and a Distinguished Alumna by San Jose State University in 2023. Nancy serves on the Board of Directors for The Hunt Institute, brightbeam, and Education Leaders of Color (EdLoC), and is on the Latinos for Education teaching team.
