Jéri L. Ogden is an educator, writer, and facilitator with a passion for and emphasis on equitable practices and cultural competence. Jéri holds a B.A. in Communication and Culture from Howard University and an M.Ed from American University. Her teaching background ranges from DC’s first all-boys public charter school to a performing arts school in Houston to an international school in Abu Dhabi to a professorship with courses focused on restorative practices, relationship building in school systems, and empathy. With over 14 years of progressive teacher leadership, Jéri is the Senior Manager, Network Learning & Engagement. Currently, she focuses her career on teaching, learning, and developing educators while curating brave community spaces while pursuing her Ed.D at Marymount University
