AmeriCorps

We bridge divides by connecting individuals and organizations to help communities tackle their toughest challenges.

Three decades ago, 20,000 Americans pledged to get things done with AmeriCorps, the federal agency for national service and volunteerism. More than 1.25 million AmeriCorps members and volunteers have since followed in their footsteps, providing billions of hours of service across the U.S. AmeriCorps members help after crises like the 9/11 attacks, aid in recovery from disasters like Hurricane Katrina, and address urgent community needs like the COVID-19 pandemic recovery, proving that AmeriCorps is not a moment. It's a movement.
