Strengthening STEM Ecosystems in Underestimated Cities

Increased STEM education investments over the past decade have sparked tech ecosystem growth in some urban and rural areas. However, a concerning national gap persists. Poorer and historically underserved students in these areas lack access to tech skills, confidence, and STEM career interest. Leaders in education, tech, and policy are joining forces in this session to address: empowering these communities, promoting equity, securing long-term data-driven critical investments, and advancing research that equips students with the skills required to achieve fulfilling high-growth STEM careers.
