Studies show that strengthening student-teacher relationships and creating social belonging improves student success. But HOW can educators make this happen? For over two decades, Stanford psychologist Greg Walton has developed a range of interventions to help students manage worries about belonging and create an environment where they thrive. This talk with identify the key turning points when relationships and belonging are at risk--and what educators can do to get these turning points right.
