As schools have implemented online platforms and device-directed education, some disturbing effects have surfaced for academic performance and student health. This session explores unexpected consequences of the overuse and misuse of digital media and evolving technologies (aka screens) in classrooms and showcases how school administration and parents can together work toward balanced practices in the classroom.
