The Power of Inclusive Stories in Climate Change Solutions
Too often, the communities most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change – including Black communities, Indigenous communities, and communities of color – are also the least represented in climate dialogue. If we want to help students see themselves in climate spaces, it's critical that we tell stories that represent them. In this session, learn about the importance of stories in climate engagement through reflections from climate heroes, and how educators can use them in their communities to create belonging for a more diverse community of climate heroes.
