Last year during SXSW EDU 2023 we brought 10 teachers, 5 students, and 5 alumnae to the event in order to identify concrete solutions to issues faced by our community in a post-pandemic learning environment. After attending, we took a risk and designed a 2-day SXSW EDU conference-style event for our Ann Richards' community. Additionally, we entered into the world of flexible scheduling that would prioritize student voice and autonomy in creating their learning schedules once a week. We will share our journey and allow space for you to start to plan for innovation within your campus.
