SESSION CANCELED: A Gamechanger: How Chess Might Just Save the World
This session is part of the special 2024 Crossover Day. Attendance is open to all SXSW EDU badgeholders as well as all SXSW badgeholders. As always, SXSW strongly believes in the power of mixing creative communities.
How can a centuries old game change the way youth learn and grow? This session will discuss how the core competencies chess teaches (including decision-making, problem solving, and empathy) can empower youth across the country to take lessons learned on the board and drive social change in their communities.
Programming descriptions are generated by participants and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SXSW.
