Schools Unified in Neurodiversity (SUN)

Neurodivergent children face more social, emotional, and learning barriers at school, which contribute to substantially worse outcomes than their peers. Attendees will participate in a human-centered design workshop to learn practical ways to better support neurodivergent children. This training was developed and tested by an interdisciplinary group of neurodivergent scholars, administrators, teachers, and advocates. The workshop teaches educators to support neurodivergent students during emotional distress, foster genuine relationships, and create an inclusive school environment.
